ABOUT DR MARITA LONG
Dr Marita Long is a Victorian based GP working in clinical practice and medical education. She completed a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive health, worked for Family Planning (Tasmania) and has a strong interest in menopause. Marita is a board member of the Australasian Menopause Society and current committee member for the Australian Society of Psychosocial Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She develops and delivers face to face and online educational workshops, and is passionate about upskilling GP’s to deliver the best evidence-based care to patients- especially women, who so often feel their voices aren’t heard. Marita also presents on radio, podcasts and webinars, and works with Dementia Training Australia.
ABOUT DR KELLY TEAGLE
Dr Kelly Teagle is a GP in Canberra specialising in Women’s health. She graduated in Medicine from the University of Queensland in 2001 and worked in the Royal Australian Air Force as a Medical Officer until 2010. As a civilian GP she gained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and developed her interest in women’s medicine.
Dr Teagle is the Founder and Principal of WellFemme, Australia's first Telehealth Menopause Clinic. She also sees patients at her Canberra practice, writes blog articles and is a women’s health speaker.
